Dr Noore is an Australian trained Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Consultant Psychiatrist.
He trained in General Adult Psychiatry and Consultation- Liaison Psychiatry at Westmead Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital in London. He also did additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and graduated with a Master of Medicine degree in psychotherapy from Sydney University.
Following this, Dr Noore worked at Nepean Hospital where he gained extensive experience in the management of patients with complex medical, psychiatric and pain problems. This led to his admission to the Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine and after this he also completed a Master of Medicine degree in Pain Management from Sydney University. Dr Noore has also completed Sydney University’s Opioid Agonist Therapy Course and is thus qualified to assist people who suffer from both chronic pain and Opioid Use Disorder.
Dr Faiz Noore is a highly experienced non-interventional Specialist Pain Medicine Physician, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist who assists people with Pain Self-Management. He also helps people who have distressing emotional reactions to a range of medical and surgical problems.
